Total Lawn Replacement

Are you wondering if it's worth pulling all those weeds? The solution may be to replace your lawn with new sod.

New sod is expensive but, it looks great and you have an immediate new lawn. The only problem is that within a year you are going to have the same old problem: An infestation of weeds. At Bronte Creek Organic Gardener we can solve this problem.

We will remove your old weed infested lawn with the bottom 2 inches of soil. We then replace this with weed-free organic soil mixed with organic worm castings. Next we over seed with Eco-lawn grass seed, ensuring a perfect mix for good seed soil contact. We then apply a lawn rejuvenation tea drench to enhance the soil food web.

The benefits of Eco-Lawn TM are that it grows in full sun, shade, and deep shade. It is an aggressive grass: it won’t travel and invade other areas, but it will choke out weeds if they try to grow in your lawn. As Eco-Lawn matures it produces its own weed control by releasing an enzyme that prohibits seeds from germinating. So if any weed seeds blow onto your lawn, Eco-Lawn TM will prevent them from growing.

Worms: Organic and Natural Gardening
RED WIGGLER WORM SALES: Pictured here is a large amount of Red Wigglers also known as Eisenia Fetida worms. As seen here their colour is a reddish brown to a bright reddish brown. These earthworms are great to use when recycling in an outdoor compost bin as they will consume one-half their body weight a day in household waste consisting of kitchen scraps. You can buy Red Wigglers by the pound weight from Bronte Creek Organic Gardener. We also sell European Night Crawler worms (great for composting organic matter) and Canadian Night Crawler worms (great for aerating lawns and gardens). We use earthworms and their end waste product called Worm Castings to achieve maximum results in plant growth, plant health and plant yield.
